Daniel Pearle’s new play “A Kid Like Jake” is a drama about a young couple (Carla Gugino and Peter Grosz) and their attempts to get their 4-year-old son into a good school while coming to terms with the boy’s desire to dress as Cinderella and the Little Mermaid. In this scene, Ms. Gugino reflects on the differences between fantasy and reality as she watches Disney’s “Cinderella” one night.
